John A Anderson

John A Anderson has been the director of Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home since 1980. He is a second generation funeral director.

John graduated from Cameron High School in 1975 and attended West Virginia University and West Virginia Northern Community College in Wheeling, WV. He Graduated from the Pittsburg Institute of Mortuary Science in 1980 along with his brother, Jeffrey S. Anderson. Jeffery and his wife Debbie operate Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Moundsville, WV and in Cameron, WV.

John is an active member of his community; belonging to Trinity – Asbury United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs Lions Club, Berkeley Springs Chamber of Commerce, The De Ford Masonic Lodge a 32* Scottish Rite Mason, Osiris Shrine of Wheeling, WV, The Junior Order of United American Mechanics Lodge 117, The Berkeley Chapter #77 Order of Eastern Star, Son’s of Alderton Dawson American Legion Post 60 and The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.

John’s father and mother Charles E and Marge Lee Anderson founded the Anderson Funeral Home located in Cameron, WV. in 1960.
